The 2026 Arctic Cat Alterra 600 TRV EPS is a premium, full-sized 2-up ATV engineered specifically for sharing the trail without compromising on performance. Built around a driver-centric chassis with a low center of gravity, this touring vehicle (TRV) balances workhorse utility with all-day trail comfort for both the rider and passenger.

Dual-Rider Comfort & Ergonomics

Rider number two gets a first-class experience, not just a backseat. The Alterra TRV features a dedicated, plush passenger seat complete with a well-padded backrest, integrated footrests, and multiple hand-grip positions. Combined with advanced exhaust routing that actively deflects engine heat away from the cabin, both riders stay cool and comfortable over long miles.  

Power & Drivetrain

At the heart of the machine is a liquid-cooled, 597cc single-cylinder EFI engine delivering a punchy 45 horsepower. Power is transferred smoothly via an ultra-reliable CVT. When the terrain gets demanding, the on-the-fly electric 2WD/4WD actuation with a selectable front differential lock ensures all four wheels bite into the earth simultaneously for maximum traction.  

Effortless Handling & Premium Suspension

Steering tight, wooded trails is effortless thanks to standard Electronic Power Steering (EPS), which reduces rider fatigue and absorbs kickback from rocks and ruts. High-clearance arched double A-arm front and rear suspensions provide an impressive 8.75 inches of travel, delivering a plush ride over rough terrain.

Whether you are hauling gear to the hunting camp or maintaining the property, the Alterra TRV is highly capable:

• Towing: Pull up to 1,050 lbs using the standard 2-inch rear receiver hitch.  

• Winched & Shielded: Outfitted with a premium 3,500-lb WARN winch with a synthetic rope and a full-length skid plate to protect the underbody.  

• Cargo Capacity: Heavy-duty composite front and rear racks offer a combined capacity of 300 lbs (100 lbs front / 200 lbs rear), paired with driver-accessible storage pockets.
